Parallel in purpose, unparalleled in service
Parallon is the administrative support platform for HCA Healthcare.
Full-service revenue cycle
Parallon provides end-to-end management of the healthcare revenue cycle, ultimately achieving total patient account resolution for HCA Healthcare — across multiple provider types (hospitals, FSEDs, physicians, UCCs and specialty services).
These services include patient access, central insurance verification, utilization review services, health information management, enterprise revenue integrity, billing and insurance collections, payment compliance, Medicaid eligibility and compliance.
Contact center
Parallon supports HCA Healthcare patients and colleagues with contact center functions to ensure more timely and efficient connection to services.
These functions are handled through our Customer Service Operations division and include authorizations, pre-registration, scheduling, IT and HR help desk support, physician referral management and customer service.
Clinical and administrative services
Parallon delivers clinical and administrative services to the HCA Healthcare enterprise to harness the power of shared services in clinical spaces.
Clinical services we provide include patient navigation, centralized peer to peer and clinical data registry abstraction. Administrative services we provide include project management, payroll and physician credentialing.
Client services
Parallon also serves external clients, from full-service revenue cycle management functions (excluding HIM, credentialing and physician billing services) to point solutions for specific revenue cycle needs.
